Rolling Thunder Of An Iron Horse Poem by Juan Olivarez

Rolling Thunder Of An Iron Horse

Rating: 5.0

I hear the Rolling Thunder
Of an Iron Horse
And my heart skips a beat

But it passes
Quickly
And I realize
It is only an illusion.

You are gone
Forever

The sun is not as bright
The wind is a little colder
The night is a little darker.

And life goes on
But, it is not as sweet.

Ride on my brother
Ride in the sky
Ride on.
