Roller Coaster Poem by Terry Hoffman

Roller Coaster

You start
right at the lowest point,
where all the world is out of joint.

You climb
and you begin to see
a chance for you to be set free.

You sink
right back to blackest pain,
just knowing it will start again.

A flash!
and someone says to you,
with help, you'll find a life brand new.
