Robot - Poem by Dave Pass

Play Poem Video

I'm made of uranium, steel and tin
A mass of electronics I have within
I can hear faint sounds of varying pitch
And I can sew with a delicate stitch

My arms are so strong I can lift a tree
I can run so fast that none can catch me
I can see in fog and in the dark too
But you'll have to tell me what I must do

Poet's Notes about The Poem

written in the 70s before infra red cameras were as sophisticated as they are now
