Robins Splashing Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Robins Splashing

Moniker of madness you desire
The loveless life
Fornicators with Greek ghosts
Jewels of the whispering oracles
Basking in sapphire waters of lions
Lofty prisons of the moon
Melody of abuse
Getting close deals with pain

We touch couched in our rejection
Positions fortified with leather books
Art is a recluse
Painters free of the future
Hope brings back a leaf of blue
Chimes by the old hearth
I see the candle in your eyes
Healing like a warm quilt

Robins splashing in the birdbath

Robins Splashing
