Roads That We Take Poem by David Harris

Roads That We Take

Rating: 5.0

The roads that we take
are never easy
there are always obstacles
on the way.
No matter what
the obstacle may be
if you want to
you can make it through.
No problem is insurmountable
no matter what others may say
there is always a spirit to guide you
every step of the way.

The roads that we take
are never easy
in spots you will find
happiness come your way.
You have to take it as you find it
before moving on your way.
Near the end,
you can look back at the memories
and rejoice with them each day.
Some will be filled
with love and sorrow
as all roads have them on their way.

This gives great comfort to the reader David - you have captured the simple need of those who at times miss their bearings - - thank you - - 10 + ++ Fay

Roads are such a recurrent theme it's a wonder we don't memorialize them in national monuments. (actually America's Route 66 is kind of an example of that now) .
