Road To Heaven Poem by Godfrey Morris

Road To Heaven

Rating: 4.0

The road to heaven is laden with a trail of tears

A patchy path of peaks and troughs pattered by dust

Straightly bounded road but blinded by the mist

Devoured within the seas of illusions

So the road of heaven is hardly troded on

A lonely road, boring road absent of pride

Accesible by all; refused by many

No money needed to pay

No degrees sought to stay

The road to heaven is a free high way

Just a will to endure

a heart so richly pure

this is what many hope for, but it's unfortunate that few could pass the way
