Ripples - Dedicated To Those Lost At Sandy Hook Elementary Poem by Ryan Lee Morris

Ripples - Dedicated To Those Lost At Sandy Hook Elementary

The sun rose
A gentle breeze.
The pond was still that morning.
Peace, tranquility, serenity.
The birds chirping,
Everything in balance.
The man casts a rock into the pond.
The once calm pond, now turbulent at the point of impact.
The rock sinks and all under the pond unsettled.
On the surface,26 ripples gently float away.
Floating to the other side.
Once again, it calms.
They remain one with the pond.
Another rock is cast,
Other ripples join them.
Then together they sleep,
Like they had never parted.
Sleep now angels.
We will see you on the other side of the pond.
God bless.
