Ring (Fun Poem 167) Poem by David Harris

Ring (Fun Poem 167)

People ask me all the time
why I wear a ring through my nose
like a tethered bull.
The answer is quite simple
to stop my brains falling out.

The fell out once before
and left a large mess
on the kitchen floor.
So now I wear a ring through my nose.
To stop it happening again.

We all have our little quirks
and this is my little quirk.
I have patented the ring
and copywriting the procedure.
Now people have to pay me

If you want your brains
to stay in your head.
Write me a cheque
for X amount of money
and I will give you a ring.
