My little white dog stayed with me
Only for a couple of years
A sudden illness took him away
And left me full of tears

I ran with him and played with him
In the lawn and in my bed
He shook his tail and licked my face
' I too love you', he said

In the photos that my daddy took
He looked so sweet and cute
What a sad Birthday it was for me
To find him cold and mute

I pray to God to give him peace
My love for him shall never abate
A share in all my birthday cakes
In future too my Riku shall get
