Rights



Shouted he when using the word, “Rights”
Eyes rolled, heads turned, voices roared.
“What is rights? ” he asked, “Who defines? ”
He shouted with more questioned then…
Like old days’ women’s bath, noise all over
Someone has lost soap and another plate.
No ear could clearly recognize those words.
“Who is right to talk of the rights for other? ”
The floor shook, the walls cracked and roofs
He was a thunder; as were Malcolm, Che…
Feathers on his head, designs on his outfit
Came out of the shadows, “Chief Joseph, ”
Skeletons marched; Halloween-like, fear
Ruled, ghosts moved, kids roamed around.
“Treat…or Trick…” no one has reason so…
Let remain blank…my page…on the rights…
