Rich Man And A Fisherman Poem by spiritual seeker

Rich Man And A Fisherman

Rating: 5.0

A rich man on vacation, saw a fisherman preparing his boat to sea.
Though living a hard life, he appeared cheerful and singing.
Wondering, the rich man asked the fisherman,
'I have millions in the bank,
And I worked day and night to acquire it,
But still I am not happy!
Though you are poor, but you look happy to me'.
The fisherman, smiling while pushing his old boat to the sea replied,
'All the fishes in the sea are mine, which I share with others.
I am just catching a little a day, just for my needs'.

It looks like golden goose to get the golden egg everyday, instead of felling the trees, pumping the fossil fuels and many more! an interesting poem!
