Reverie Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Reverie

Rating: 5.0

Playful sunrays caressing—sweet
My dreamy mood this afternoon!
With no thought, just my heartbeat:
Lovely visions in mind bloom!

To whom I owe this pleasant calm?
To Nature! —for when I am lying at its bosom,
My worried spirit nurtures like a balm,
And all around me is so handsome!

When in repose, in the stillness of the moment,
Forgotten is the Past, and only Now it is:
Serene in reverie pure, calm, and dormant,
And whole the Universe just is;

Allowing me to be, to sense my breath
At once with everything in harmony:
With every flower, tree, and tweeting bird:
Happily alive and thought in clarity.

When in such beauty I drift with joy,
Transcending Time and Space—it is Love I see!
And gratefully with whole my heart I enjoy
This reverie...a reminder just to be.

Reverie is a wonderful title to highlight 'Playful sun-rays caressing sweet My dreamy mood this afternoon, ' and the quiet pleasure of dwelling in comforting warming pleasing thoughts, wonderful

When in such beauty I drift with joy, Transcending time and space is Love I see, When we are surrounded by the calm serenity of Nature, we forget all worries and reach a state of solitude and bliss and the only emotion we experience is love....! Enjoyed this lovely poem!
