Reunions Poem by Paul Klobusicky

Reunions

REUNIONS

It comes every ten years
Traveling many miles
Packing emotions
And a busload of smiles

Some arrive to see friends who are dear
Some voices we won’t hear
Gathering together
Exchanging handshakes, hugs and kisses

Like a lost dog
That has been found
We are happy to be reunited
Just like the hound

As the years past by
Our memories fade
Our stories rekindled
Of whom we were

Of the silly things we did
Of things we said
Lasting memories
Of days gone by

Some of the best days
Of our lives
Were the four years
We spent together gathering joys of tears
