Return Of The Legend Poem by Godwin Kavaarpuo

Return Of The Legend

In thousand years, he appears
Riding on the clouds
and the sword in his hand
It’s only a legend

They have crafted it
what men do for power
their volcano has melted all in its path
fear, paralysing fear has submerged them all

Men burnt the truth
That is their miracle
Ducks now live as geese
and kings now in chains

Return, return
the legend we heard
Let the mountains tremble
to end the misery that bound them
