Retired Poem by Savita Tyagi

Retired

Rating: 5.0

Mingling with the world
Required no more
Refrigerator loaded
With T.V. Dinner and S'mores
An ever new world
Suffuse in television
Looks and talks like us
I touched the screen
Feel of a deadpan
Yet warm as my own hand
So surreal!

Please pass the S'MORES.......NOW! ! ! or is it burritos? If I watched TV, my list of poems on PH would be much smaller. My brain might be smaller as well. I once married a television, but it didn't work out. Maybe I'll try a radio next time. bri :)

Thanks for the lively comment. Besides T.V. And Radio the latest choice now a days is computer or IPhone.
