Resting Awhile (Revisited)

As I
enter this chamber
of silence resting renewing
my spirit

Laying
the burdens of life
down one by one they diminish
fade away

Climbing
the ladder one step
at a time a new piece of mind
ascending

In this
quest my soul is laid
bare before my loving savior
now I rest
