I wiz born in Glesga, aye Glesga's where am fae
I'm proud of it am proud tae say
The people are really friendly, well most of them anyway.
I’m nae doubt a Glasweigian no doubt no way.

Castlemilk's where I learned to walk
Castlemilk's where I learned to talk
Tae splutter oot glesga patter and banter
I modelled mysell' on Tam O 'Shanter.

And i've grown up tae like a good drink
And a smile and a song, nudge nudge wink wink.
