Respect
Respect is drifting away
getting less and less by the day.
People dont want to know
As they seem to show
Manners have gone
Nearly down to none
Respect for others is on a low
self-centredness is how people go
Everyone needs to improve it
Even if it's just a little bit.

I like the single, simple theme, about an everyday, often unspoken problem. I like that your poem is short, to the point, and I'm sure it comes from personal experience. What I often notice is how 'conversation' is often monologue rather than dialog. 'Conversation hogs' is sometimes my private thought.
