Resentful Poem

★ Resentful Poem

☆ Poetry by Yao Shi Yuehua (? -? , Tang Dynasty, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

Water long flows and grass green in spring
Tears longing for you ceaselessly shed to it
Shame to put the grief of parting to the east wind
Play the Qin zither but can’t be a tune
Like Hu and Yue form and shadow between I and you
Throughout the year jade pillows face to leave
Climb the tower and overlook north where misty rain deep
Turn around to moon in the broad sky, I weep
