Repetitive Once More
Dustin Miller

Hating everyone is what he does best.
Never wanted to get to attached.
They always leave him when he finally
decides to open his heart for them.

One time he tried and thought
“It would be different this time.”
It was the same repetitive
pattern he had always hated.

Thought he could love her this time.
her lame excuse for leaving was
a reason he doesn’t want to feel
anything in his day to day life.

Back to the same reclusive attitude.
A mask that nobody can see through.
