Repentance Poem by Anders Lim

Repentance

Bowed my head
Kneeled to the ground
Prayed ahead
Without a single sound

Tears streamed down
My blood-shot eyes
Dripped to the ground
As I slowly rised

I couldn’t resist
But yell a cry
Clenching my fists
I punched to wards the sky

“I’m sorry Lord for the thing I’ve made it...”

Ask for forgiveness
And blessings shall be sent
All it takes is the selflessness
To break your sins and repent
