Renamed Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Renamed

Rating: 5.0

Monochromatic
My life's hues
Pencil sketches
Grey scales rule

In the backdrop
Mountains high
As I hide
In receding tides

Just a sea shell
Sepia's core
Pearl within
Sandy are shores

All those colours
You fill in
Then tell me
My colour of skin

Just reflections
Of your selves
You had lost
On forgotten shelves

Now I watch you
Walk away
As I wait for
Another stray.
