Reminiscing Soul Poem by Charles Farmkidzzz Mthembu

Reminiscing Soul

Rating: 2.6

Inside me sits a lonely soul
But inside her sits my heart
She’s gone that much I agree
She left a dying soul empty without words to beg

Goodbye my love as I whispered to her departing soul
Will you ever return to this breathless speechless corpse?
Will you ever think of me just as much as I do?
Will you ever cry for no particular reason?
And when those bees come buzzing in your ears, will you ever
tell them to get lost just like you did tell me?

But now it rains no more in my eyes since its winter
The sun does not shine at the dying soul
Only wheeling winds whip my corpse to the mortuary,
Where my dead soul shall no longer think nor imagine thy breathtaking soul
of thee

You were so professional so original
You left footprints of your love in my soul
You knew how to comfort me when the worst got the best of me
Death should have separated U and me!

But now nor my dying soul nor my crispy corpse will capture your tempting soul
I’ll program my psyche not to reminisce about thee
I’ll fast forward myself to the future and hope not to meet someone like U
I shall no longer visit the past

So go on girl
Weave your path
Leave a brother behind
But know that in my mind, You are!

very touching. All of us keep the memories close to the heart, and the sad fact is, the ones that hurt the most are the hardest to overcome, and remain the longest. nice work young man.10
