Reminisces Poem by Autumn Winds

Remeber the days
When we'd sit on the swing?

When we'd laugh and play?

I remeber those days
Before the fighting started

You seem to have forgotten them

Remeber when mom would take us
On walks outside?

She'd smile and laugh

And we'd catch fireflies in jars
But they always died

Remeber when dad was happy and didn't drink?

When we didn't hear
Screaming and yelling

Out side their bedroom door?

Before mom ran out crying
With bruses and cuts

All over her arms?

I remember thoses days
You do too

All you do now is sit and remince

About the past
When we were little

You have forgotten about me

And how much I need you

When will you return?
