Reminiscence Poem by Rodrigo Mandetta

Reminiscence

She was the brightest star

That no one else could see

She lighted the waves

Across my entire sea

She was beautiful

The only moon i could hear

Singing across my heart

In the waters within

The night became pretty again

And i could finally feel free

The cold became warm

In the mere tought of she

But soon i realized

I coudn't be seen

She was my wildest wind

But i was only hear breeze

She was a lighthouse

So big, i could never reach

I wanted to be taller

But i couldn't pass the beach

The sky became full of dreams

Memories and painful whims

I tried to fly on

But i felt only pain in my wings
