Reminders Poem by Edwina Reizer

Reminders

What is it that reminds me of you?
That’s not hard to say.
The gentle breeze that passes me by,
I’m reminded and I sigh.
The fiery sun with blazing heat,
I’m reminded and am complete.
The brilliant colors of flowers in bloom,
I’m reminded and I swoon.
The sounds of music that I hear,
I’m reminded and you appear.
The soft light of a moonbeam,
I’m reminded and I dream.

I could go on never ending
but what good would it do?
For everything I think of or see
always reminds me of you.
