Remembering You, Mother Poem by Meggie Gultiano

Remembering You, Mother

Rating: 5.0

Nowhere will I find a love like yours
This love knew no bounds
Your beauty outshines all the rest
A beauty that would still astound.

You said your children were your greatest joy
That you wouldn't trade them for any treasure
We should've told you long ago ~
There's no other Mother who could measure.

You always made us feel so special
Your loving touch brought a smile to our face
You were always there when we needed you
With a kiss and a loving embrace.

When we were sick and in pain
Your lullaby's brought joy to our hearts
You sang so sweetly and brought us peace
Allowing the healing to start.

How fortunate and lucky we all were
To have been blessed with a Mother like you
Who made the sun shine even brighter
By all that you did do.

As long as your spirit is by our side
What more could we ask for
How sweet it was to have a Mother
Whom we loved so much and adored.
