Remembering You
My life is like the weather,
Stormy or bright but never stay.
I began to write poetry one dark day,
now that you are farther away.
I'm assuming it is about you
as I write these love poems.
I'm assuming it is about you
as I lay awake and my mind roams.
I'm assuming it is about you
who seems to keep wandering away.
Still, I continue to remember you,
and thoughts of you will never fade.
