I know mother dear
You were never alone in your life
Because you always
Embraced me
My warm blanket always
During those cold nights
When papa was always away
On his personal journeys

I know mother dear
You always have many thoughts
Forethoughts
Second thoughts
Afterthoughts
To everything that you think and do
You have always
Considered me
More that anybody
Even setting aside
What you are to yourself
In the hierarchy of things
In the order of events
It was always me
Above all
