Remembering Poem by michele kostelnik

Remembering

Rating: 3.0

I was a child and you were my hero
pity me not - though my heart be at zero
I shall go back to our sea shore
to build a sand castle once more
The nest is cold and so blue
I have only good to say of you
We have canities but once were young
Long ago another song was sung
Pageism you promised ever so true
Now like a wild bird away it flew
I - the female goblin who visits you
in your sleep
am not just another unorthodox sheep
Just for now I'll depart in my wiliecoat
Someday I'll be separated - sheep from-
goat.

That was great, really good word choice. I enjoyed that.
