Reluctant Poem by Nayeli Singh

Reluctant

Reluctant to breath,
Even when you don't wish,
Reluctant to smile,
When you want to cry.
Reluctant to tolerate,
The greatest tortures,
Reluctant to keep moving,
when you are wounded.

Reluctant to care,
Even when you don’t.
Reluctant to survive,
In the worst disasters.

Reluctant to win,
Defeating the worthless,
Reluctant to live,
When you wish to die,
Is that what you call Life?
