Religion: An Important Question To Allow In Modern State! Poem by Pranab K Chakraborty

Religion: An Important Question To Allow In Modern State!

Rating: 4.4

Institutional religion should be terminated by the state
to promote individual religious faith

constitution and obligatory mandates
imposed by the religious institutions
many times consider people as their slave
just to carry the orders by the name of Almighty

individual belief always finds transition
by making relation with God
through the path of love and compassion
eager to enjoy the divine bliss with submission
whereas institutions committed to impreach
imperialistic superiority

different religious constitution
ornamented with the options
to infiltrate mesmerising attitude
towards fighting, war and invasion
to conquer and domination

individual belief never admit war by the name of Almighty
except the self suffering to penetrate
another world of grace and celestial serenity

state should terminate all the institution
providing opportunity
to the civilisation to stand on feet
for another thousands of year to keep exist
civilisation known as human civilisation!

Institutionalized religion, I fear, is doing more harm than good! Religion instead of fostering love and compassion among fellow beings has stooped to fanaticism and bigotry! I think more bloodshed is there in the name of religion than in any rebellion! Actually all religions teach the ways to righteous living and preach great values..... So religion in itself is not bad at all, but man is using religion to enjoy power and to mould people in a frame that will leave them blind! As long as man doesn't change, there is not going to be any difference even if religion is reinstated or abolished! Let man learn to love his fellow beings! From there change begins!

People are people. Religion is religion. Faith is faith. Love must be scattered above all.

Religion must be the pathway to life eternal. To earn this eternal paradise man has to live a life that pleases God. God is love. If that be so, man must live God's love. He cannot say, I love god' and then hates his fellow men.. Institutions must feed and nurture this pathway of love so that man finds peace on earth and later, in heaven. If he has faith in this pathway and practices it, he feels life fulfilled. But then this 'pathway' is a relationship between God and man. For this reason, man will love one another because he loves God. God is love. Why then terminate the 'pathway'?
