Relief Poem by Tim Cronin

Relief

The cicadas are freaking me out
In the cut, hiding to get high before work
And Matt Mason cut corners quickly
Like an acquaintance at Wawa
I concealed my crime and smiled sunshine
And the cicadas are still shedding skins above my head

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The cut=a chillin spot
Since Delco is so boring young people with no bar money on the weekends just hang out at the local Wawa convenience store and there's always at least one you didn't really wanna see
