.relic

Rating: 5.0

Out of time
Off the pace
Left behind
I’m out of place

A man of antiquity resisting
The immanent arrival of the age of haste
An instance of instant is here and now
They have no time to waste

We don’t wait well
Patience’s virtue got smashed
Running after yesterday
And at high speed crashed

Once there was appreciation
Expectancy setting the scene
Now it’s now or never
Fast track for the over keen

Technology made us demanding
Over eager to partake
We found the easy answers
That was our great mistake

Slow and sure
I do embrace
I’m out of time
I will not race
