Rejection
The world's only fool,
I have lost my crown
In the deepest ocean.
I thought it may have
Wanted to embrace me.
Instead it threw me, naked,
Back out onto the sand.
Yet again another very strong poem, Full of deep emotion. Really great write.
Really tearjerkingly beautiful. Wanting to die, feeling ready to die, you think you would be welcomed, freed from pain. Only to wake up another day and facing life. Stay brave and strong, young one, I have you in my prayers.
Maybe we should accept easier...so the selection of the best wont leave a regret...It's good to know if anything rejected coz they not suit for you, you deserve better...better than having what you have losing.. :) _Unwritten Soul
And unfortunately, so many adults are like that... Good write~! ! The ones who throw away their dignity to get back their position would be rejected by all~
