Day One of my Rehabilitation,
What will happen today,
I know that YOU will help me,
For that I shall always pray.

When daily I awaken,
Silent Prayers to YOU I make,
To heal me from this dark time
And daily progress make.

Part of my right leg is not there,
But my Mind and Soul is live,
To Praise THEE daily,
To make me do what is right.

With YOUR help I shall succeed
May my endeavours be guided by YOU,
Keep strong my Faith daily,
In all that I do do.

Let me again write Poetry,
Help me to address my Mind,
To lead a Life to praise THEE,
And May the Medical Staff be kind.
