you wanted a perfect life, a perfect world with me
but i let you down
i destroyed your hopes & dreams
now you're swallowed by pain & regret
i once promised you i'd never hurt you
but i wasn't true to you,
you thought i was the one, mr.right,
i broke your mended heart
i once promised you i'd never lie to you
but i broke that promise
you thought i'd be the one you'd marry
but i treated you bad
i'm sorry for everything
i even promised i'd love you always & forever
but i shattered your heart
i never wanted it to be this way
i can't belive you fell in love with me
you wanted a future with me but i messed it up
i was not there when you needed me
i yelled & cursed at you
i treated you like dirt
i would push you away
you asked me to love you right but i didn't
There were times i ignored you
you deserve better, so much better
maybe now you'll have a better life
i made you fall apart
i made you break
it was never meant to be this way
i hope your lifes perfect now i'm gone
& now i'm staring down the barrel of your pistol,
Crawling through the ashes of what we used to be
theres no other way to accept the way things changed
