Refugio, Haven Poem by Sandra Feldman

Refugio, Haven

Me pierdo entre nubes rimadas,
el verso calma las llagas,
los dolores, las perdidas,
las lagrimas lloradas.

Haven
I lose myself in rhyming clouds,
Verse calms our throbbing sores,
Our pains, our losses,
The tears already cried.

In their own way clouds do rhyme. And calm. If they did clam my sores, I would like them less.: -)

Yes, clammy sores must be quite insufferable!

Muy bien hecho, Sandra. Very well done. Exceptional poem with one small typo. In line 2 of the English version, you meant CALMS instead of CLAMS. Hmmm... Why am I craving seafood all of a sudden?

Rhyming clouds sounds like a nice place to get lost. Soft and pillowy. This is a pretty poem. Haven... I like your word choice. Love and hugs! :)
