Reflections Of Midnight Blue Poem by Deborah Ann Baker

Reflections Of Midnight Blue

Rating: 4.5

The enchantress begins her ascent
upon a backdrop of midnight blue.
Stars gather as if her children
to attend a bedtime story.

She reached out and rises higher
to met her reflection.
As a father shines upon it's child
And the child reflects it's father's love

As I gaze upon the face within the moon
I realize, it is mine.
So, I sit upon a lush green field
with scents of chamomile and sweet jasmine

Drinking moon beams and
remember
Reflections of Midnight Blue
