Mirrors and mirrors all around me
When I look, i wonder, who is it I see?
In awe of one, while I ignore the other
They're all the same, but don't resemble either.
Reflections i see, of me in you
Blinded by illusion, not seeing the truth.
Pained by a few, gained from a few
I've laughed, I've cried, with me or with you?
I see what I know, do I know what I see?
I cannot tell the difference between you and me.
Reflections i see, of me in you.
I was blinded by illusion, not seeing the truth.
The image ripples, as I judge it each day.
The stone i threw, at me or you? It's hard to say.
The veil of ignorance, was truly a gift.
With it being lifted, I'm just a misfit.
Oh why do I see reflections of me in you.
I was content with my illusion, not seeing the truth.
