green awaits sun to wake by warmth
dawn sees the glaze by grin of leaf
breeze touches amidst with lofty bliss
lest soul shines by own sweet breath

darkness desiccates bounty of beauty
night primly gleans tears by dews
entirety redeems by shedding sorrows
sky looks bright blue aftermath of rain

life is a mystery by reasons divine
who knows its cycle of cause and effect
yet eternity flows by streams in ages
nobody yet knows how it begins and ends

we never know reef of silence by night
heart inebriates drinking wine of breath
quest fails to find riffs of rhythm unfazed
as it flows being obsessed to reason.

'Life is a mystery by reasons divine'. We may never fully understand eternity in this lifetime, yet who knows what knowledge awaits us in the future? Perhaps we are already subconsciously aware. I like this poem, and I especially like the way you make me think about such things. I think each of us will find the answers in our own time.

Dr. Subhendu, As usual your poem is rich in poetic craftsmanship and profound in thought. It is inspiring. It emerges from the silence of the sky on mountain peaks, noise on its downwards journey mingles into the infinite sea, in its silent origin and merger let's search the life's key. CP

You are right! Since the time of Aristotle - volumes have been written by Philosophers on 'cause and effect'! It was the Philosophers of Medieval Period who attributed everythng to the -'Divine Cause' and spent their life-time in justifying the same! For your poem 10! -Raj
