Reduce Me To Dust Poem by Varghese J Kuttikat

Reduce Me To Dust

Rating: 3.0

Reflected light salutes its source awesome
Mirrors images that placate even the fastidious
Vanity fuels vanity, a frenzied waltz
Puts the entire throng in a strain extravagant
Limits recede, " How far would you dare
O Man? " - God asks with a mischievous glint yet with a certain cheer
"O Lord! You launched me on the orbit for your sport
Did you conspire for my doom in fire unrelenting?
Anyway, I offer salutations to you, because
You grudgingly granted me the privilege of this much advance
Now reduce me to dust and consign me to gloom eternal
