the title was aluring with the promise of appeal, the emotive touch took all breath away, with the mating of tactial touch stimulating with romantic consumation, explosive breaths haunt the wonders of a touch lighting fires in the eyes of destiny

Desires inflamed with such passion beautifully expressed and I love the title too!

This poem is technically a tanka but it seems much longer than that form. The words you chose, the images they create PROLONG the sensation described. In fact, prolong is one of those words that lengthens the experience. TONGUES OF FIRE suggests a religious ceremony (Pentecost) which adds gravitas to the secular pursuit of pleasure. The fact that the limitation of a tanka keeps you from further description and explanation increases the poem's surrender to PASSION.
