Reconciliation Poem by Judy Meibach

Reconciliation

I want you to love me
Be with me as
You used to -
Make the hurt and anger go away!

We were a good team
A couple with
Great conversations
Intimate talks, walks,
Albeit slow, the
Walks you know,
Laughing at life
At what we had and
Did not have -
But we had each other
Holding hands
Feeling the magic,
The warmth,
Electricity
Between us.

Come back to me.

I am delighted to read Judy Meibach's short poem, 'Reconciliation.' This is the type of concerns my poems tackle. She is not a novice as she says; she is an accomplished poet. cokemwa08@gmail.com
