Recognition Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Recognition

Rating: 3.5

The extent of reality is questionable
Only personal experiences can relate
Images that stimulate become memorable
Silent dark passages do not replicate

A person’s existence may be concealed
Are they worthless if they are not recognized?
The essence of being important and real
Depends on the ordained minds that sanctified.

A raised thumb gives final approval
A whirling pool of intense emotion eases
Relieving fears of ultimate removal
The decisive moment reassures and pleases

As a speck in a cosmos of infinite planetary objects
Being recognized gives importance to human logic…
