Recipe For A Broken Heart Poem by Hannah Anderson

Recipe For A Broken Heart

Rating: 5.0

Add all your pain
And all your sorrow
Mix well with your failures
And your tears for tomorrow
Next add in your memories
Everyone you can find
Of how everyone betrayed you
How only one person was kind
Now remember that friend
He’s no longer here
He left this world behind
He let go of all fear
Now add in a sad dream
Of death and of tears
Next puncture your heart
Pour out all your fears
Your heart will be empty
Your head full of hate
Your eyes will flow over
Now you have to wait
Once your heart beat has stilled
And your heart is bled dry
Spread this mix to the winds
And forget how to cry
Now your heart will be broken
The pieces are scattered
Everything is gone
All that ever mattered
Once done it cannot be removed
Your heart is gone forever
It cannot be renewed
It’ll never be whole again, NEVER
