Reborn Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Reborn

Rating: 5.0

Sub-aqua marine blue
accosts my [limpet] eyes
my retinae shrink
childhood parties, balloons nestling against
my [naked] knees
The depths of the [saline] sea
seen from the Arahura,

Acrid, acid the salty, sandy seawater
Sprays up and I inhale
all that
is [suffuse] sea
blue
the

Blue green dark wine water
embracing me now
with the warm comfort
of a long lost
yet now sought womb.
