Rebel Without A Cause Poem by John Done

Rebel Without A Cause

Rating: 4.3

You're a rebel without a cause,
Always marching on others flaws
Digging with your paws
You keep finding other laws.
But what is it you want?
I tell you this you're far from a savant.

What is your purpose?
You paint the world with constant bleakness.
Not even you know what you want,
All you ever do is taunt.

All I know is you and your kind
Have always had this world in a bind.
The mushroom cloud is never silver lined.
Show me your apocalypse!
Does our demise come from filmstripes or spaceshipes?

Alright I give in
Come here, I want to be your kin
Teach me oh wise one
Put your lips into action

Now that you have my dime
I hope you will grant me your time
Please don't prove to be nothing but slime
Wait! what's that? You're gone?
Does that mean I am no longer your icon?

You know, I wish you did not disappoint.
But the only point you reach is the breakpoint.
Walk off thinking you're a hero.
But just ask history, your name is John Doe.
