Reality Suspended Poem by Samantha Campbell

Reality Suspended

Day ended

Reality suspended

Time has melted away
the vein of my pain

Ink
splatter
Drip
Drip
Drip

Spilling
flows
of emphatic
shudders

Bleeding

Being
Ink
literally

Sashaying
around curves

Oh to escape
one World
to another
Break out
by bathing
naked Hearted

The intensities
of colors
flowing free
leaks of fluid
from the mirrors
of my Soul

Dancing to rhythms
hinting of their
hidden truths

For I scribe
and it is NEVER
just Poetry

I let Pieces
of me Flow
through
metaphors
spoken by
a heart full freed

I let words
gather and drip
they run wild
they live free
they chase
the night
like stars

And from these
Lonely lips of mine
curves of script glow

On ignited page
I emerge
