Realistically Poem by Moth Harris

Realistically

I wake up in a dream and seem to be scared
I cared for a while then decided to smile and move on
What was right was wrong and along the way
I heard someone say 'It'd be best if you'd stay, '

So today I wondered if under reality
Alls it is, is just a dream
Now I don't know exactly what this means
but I'll try to fill the space inbetween

I fell asleep and wondered where I'd be going
Not knowing my fate or date with destiny
These thoughts rest in me and my molten mind
Where you find my dreams are reality

So tomorrow I know I'd go to the ends of the world
Dance with my girl in the moonlit sky
Wonder how and why life turned out so good
When I never imagined it could happen this way

It's not the end, but let's pretend it ends here
Clear and with the message at completion
and you've won the knowledge and had fun
Reading something that would never be done

What I'm trying to say is that the way reality works
Doesn't hurt or desert you at all
It's not there to trip you or make you fall
It's your call to listen in and begin a dream
Hopefully one that's neverending
